Day 1: > Tune Camera to ML, Cloak to Stats, Umbrella to NC, Parka to YR, and put the Stillsuit on the GelCube (and lock it). > Pick up the meat from Oliver's pool table and get the Milky Eyed Sot's quest. > Pick up a Fleshazole from the CMC. > Sell inventory stuff to hit 90 meat, then buy and eat a Fire Cracker (and then heal in the hot tub). > Pocket for stats. > Tune the cape to stagger, locket a Heavy Kegtank, and YR it (via spit acid) to get a Meat Engine (plus P for stats). > Get a cleaver NC in the Kitchen. > Do the free fights in Oliver's. - Use the CBB and sake bombs for killing the enemies. > Unlock the Billiards Room. - Use P, equip the extinguisher, and retune the cape to cap both. - Charge the CMG a little bit too. > Level 5 Quest (Goblins). - Pick up the Sot's parcel while here. - Continue charging the CMG. - When you get the lockpicks from the GelCube, switch to charging up the Camel. - Map a Harem Girl to Envy the outfit then get smelly and beat the boss. > Pick up and drink some apt wine from the CMC. > Level 2 Quest (Larva). - Finish charging the CMG and then backup to get free kills until the NC. - Then keep NC up and unlock the Temple. > Unlock the guild and alternate with forcing NCs for the Friars. - While charging the CMG for tomorrow. > Pick up and drink some apt wine from the CMC. > Map a tirejuggler and craft the meatcar. > Fight the Piranha Plant (and P for stats) and wine-ify the mushroom. > Map a sheep and PV two stone wools. > Send the Autumnaton to the Neck of the Woods (I forgot to get a ruby W while there). > Finish the first floor. - Finish charging the CMG. - PV a killing jar. > Level 3 Quest (Tavern). > Level 4 Quest: - Locket a beanbat with the Camel, and E+Spit to get the bean and 3 siabs. - Beat the Boss Bat. > Send the Autmnaton to Oliver's (nothing else to do at the moment). > Pick up an extrovermectin from the CMC for tomorrow. > Do the DD. > Up Init (don't need to tune the cape: 25 = 5*5 = 4*6 + 1*1) and backup to kill modern zombies. - Go to the bathroom to do the backups (burn delay there). > Send the Autumnaton to Oliver's (nothing else to do at the moment). > Tune the cape and up ML, then Locket a GSoGW. - Then backup (in the bathroom again, clearing it) and use the extinguisher to clear. - 48ML + umbrella + extinguisher to subtract 10 from the zone = 4 turns (locket -> backup -> foam -> boss). > Clear the Lichs. > Do the second floor. - While charging the Camel. > Fight a Toothy Skeleton (got a natural eye), then fight a Spiny Skeleton and E+N+Spit. - Only cleared a total of 19 this way (2 + 3 + 2 + 4*3). > Do the Landfill. > Fight a Dairy Goat, but forgot to equip the extinguisher, so only got one natural. - Backed up to fight a second and PV'd the last two cheeses. > Fight a skeleton (get no eyes), but then get the map NC to finish. > Clear the Chasm. - Northern explosion with enough +spell damage was getting the "dozens" message, meaning: 3 kills -> NC * Still felt like it took a while. :/ - Remember to remove ML. - Red Rocket a sprout while doing this. > Up resistances and clear A-Boo Peak. > Up NC and start Twin Peak. - Got two NCs immediately with no fights (didn't go for the third as I don't have any oil). :) > Finish the Friars while you have NC up. > STATS: - Turns spent today: 206 - Main stat at end: 82 (66/165 sub) * Level: 9 (14/17 points in) > THOUGHTS: - Turn-gen was amazing! The bookbat is great for Any%. :D * Stomach: 6 pink + 6 blue + 3 green. * Liver: 2 pink + 10 blue + 2 6-turn distills + 2 7-turn distills. ~ +3 blue nightcap (I misread it... D:). - Stat-gen was good enough (I think). * Better than last run, but last run was bad. - Things that went badly: * Forgot to take a familiar into the Kegtank fight. * Forgot to use the Autumnaton for the first half of the day. * Misread a size 3 booze as size 1 and accidentally nightcapped early. :( ~ But then I was only going to drink a size 1 and immediately nightcap with a 4 green, so maybe it wasn't far off anyway. - Things that went well: * Lots. Nothing particular to call out though. ~ That said, the bookbat gives _amazing_ food! - Compared to last run: * Did the DD. * Finished the skeletons. * Cleared the Chasm. * Did A-Boo Peak. - Areas for improvement: * Didn't need the Fleshazole in the end, so could have picked up some wine for more stats. ~ This will depend on how much meat you can get from pool and inventory junk. ~ Although drinking the wine will increase your pool skill, so will give you more meat from pool.... * Coordinate familiar usage/swapping better, as you want lots of ingredients from the bookbat. ~ Relatedly, you need to get the last basic recipe before your next ascension, as not being able to make that meant a third of the drops were near-useless. :( Day 2: > Send the Autumnaton to Twin peak (trying to get RHTs). > Pick up and drink some apt wine from the CMC. > Pocket a Mountain Man and PV 1 ore then force the rest. > Fight the Piranha Plant and wine-ify the mushroom. > Do the free fights in Oliver's. > Locket an oil cartel and backup (on the airship) to clear the Oil Peak (using PVs to get any extra oils needed). > Tune cape to stun, use an extrovermectin, and Locket+Gregarious an assassin. > Finish the airship. - PV the A and amulet. - Collect the ninja climbing gear while here. > Send the Autumnaton to Oliver's (nothing else to do at the moment). > Pick up and use a Homebodyl from the CMC. > Use 2 RHTs to finish Twin Peak. > Clear the Icy Peak. > Map an Alphabet Giant. - PV a D, and Spikolodon to force the NC. - Up NC to get the mid-floor NC (succeeded). - Equip the CMG for free fights. * But forgot to backup, so had to just recharge it a bit instead. :( - Also send the Autumnaton to the mid-floor at the same time (to increase chances of a butterfly and for more stats). - Use a red rocket and eat a sprout (stats are looking a bit short). - Keep NC up and finish the top floor (and get the rocket). > Pick up and drink some apt wine from the CMC. > Send the Autumnaton to the castle mid-floor again (still not got a butterfly...). > Do the DD. - And charge the CMG some more. > Map a pr0n and get a natural n. > Locket an LFM. - Map a Camel Toe and E+N+Spit to get all of the stars and lines, plus two more barrels. > Keep adventuring in the HitS until you get an Astronomer (I needed the stats :( ). - And finish charging the CMG while there. > Do the Black Forest. - Backup for the remaining CMG fights. * Actually, I don't think this is on delay, so maybe this didn't help.... :/ > Pick up and drink some apt wine from the CMC. > Send the Autumnaton to the castle mid-floor again (still not got a butterfly....). > Unlock the Hidden City. - Use Spikolodon spikes to guarantee getting the garbage. > Pick up and drink some apt wine from the CMC. > Swap to a bowler and Spit for 4 balls (+CBB during the fight). > Pick up a compass and do the desert (with Camel + knife + compass (in that order)). - Send the Autumnaton to the castle mid-floor again (still not got a butterfly.....). > Unlock the Spooky Cellar. > Do Shen's quest. - Sniff the bartender for more cocktails. > Send the Autumnaton to the castle mid-floor again (still not got a butterfly......). > Up NC and do the Zeppelin. - Sniff the cultist. > Banish the Lawyer and do the Penthouse. > Do the Hospital (two Surgeons before the NC). > Force the NCs in the office building. > Do the Cellar. - 1 backup for the Chateau de Vinegar. - 1 backup (and 3 naturals) for the blasting soda. - 1 non-boiler and 2 naturals for the wine bomb. > Up NC and do the first bit of the Palindome. - Sniff the first human you find. > STATS: - Turns spent today: 234 (440 total) - Main stat at end: 133 (76/267 sub) * Level: 12 (8/23 points in) > THOUGHTS: - Turn-gen was excellent (again). * Stomach: 7 pink + 2 blue + 3 green + 1 hotdog. * Liver: 11 blue + 1 6-turn distill + 5 7-turn distills. ~ + green nightcap. * Nightcapped with 40 turns (+ nightcap) spare, as everything left to do takes dailies. - Stat-gen was not good enough * Had to spend 6-7 turns grinding stats (while "looking for the Astronomer"). ~ This was why I ate so much green. Getting +stats. * I seem to be getting through 11/12 at a good rate though. - Things that went badly: * Forgot to backup for the CMG so had to recharge and reuse it. * Forgot to take the Camel when going for the Camel Toe (aptly enough), so had to back out (wasting a turn). * Must have miscounted for the penthouse, as I was one off of ready when it showed up (so had to pass and force it on the next turn). - Things that went well: * Finally got the Roasted Veg. of Jarlsberg recipe!! :'D * Got the boning knife en-route. - Compared to last run: * Did the bowling alley. * Did the desert. * Did the office building. * Did the Palindome. - Areas for improvement: * Lean slightly harder into stats next time. * Should have started training the Hobo Monkey earlier (when not using another familiar). ~ Doesn't need to be too much, but you're always annoyed about being short on +meat, so here's an easy answer. * See if you can relax the dailies usage for anywhere earlier, as you had to nightcap with quite a lot of adventures spare! Day 3: > Pick up some muscle wine from the CMC (for the tower test). > Fight the Piranha Plant and wine-ify the mushroom. > Do the free fights in Oliver's. > Equip the CMG and backup with +NC to clear the top floor of the pyramid. > Take the Camel and sniff a rat in the middle floor. - Then pocket a Hippy and E+N+Spit. * This didn't work (as in, the Camel is still charged)? Maybe the pocketed monsters aren't copyable.... * Yeah, seems right. The next fight had the Rat still in the backup camera. - Nevermind. Just go and spit on a Rat regularly. * Only gave 1 ratchet. I give up. Stupid conditionals. >:( - Then use a Tangle of Rat Tails (apparently I picked one up) for 2 more ratchets. > Send the Autumnaton to the Middle Chamber (just to see if it can get ratchets. I doubt it, but don't need it for anything else at this point). > Do the DD. - Spikolodon in the first fight to get the last wheel. - And again in the second fight to start the war. - Pick up a Breathitin when the CMC is available again. > Beat up Ed. > Send the Autumnaton to the Middle Chamber again. > Do the nuns. - Battery, savings bond, candle, bread, hobo monkey, umbrella, backup camera, parka, CBB -> +585% = 13-18 turns - Pick up a Breathitin from the CMC en-route. > Send the Autumnaton to the Wine Cellar (why not). > Do the filthworms. - PV and banish the first; Shocking lick the second; and Spit acid on the third. > Do the ducks. - Use the Breathitins for the outdoor bits. - Spikolodon spikes can't force the Barn NCs. :( > Pick up the crown from the CMC (might be nice for the maze tests). > Do the first bit of the battlefield. > Map an LFM, then backup to fight a second (and complete the sidequest). > Do the second bit of the battlefield. > Pick up the jeans from the CMC (the +cold should help clear the tower test). > Do the gremlins. > Do the rest of the battlefield and beat The Man. - Nearly forgot to pick up poultices! Thank you Mafia. > Level 13 Quest. - 2nd for init and stats tests, but only 3rd for cold test. Couldn't muster the last +5.... :( - 1-turn Wall of Meat. :) > STATS: - Turns spent today: 128 (568 total) - Main stat at end: 155 (34/311 sub) * Level: 13 (7/25 points in) > THOUGHTS: - Turn-gen was irrelevant. What I did consume was for buffs rather than turns. * Stomach: 2 pink + 2 hotdogs. * Liver: 1 11-turn distill. - Stat-gen was fine. * 2 points into lvl 13 by the end of the war. ~ I did keep a sprout for emergency use though. - Things that went badly: * Wasted the Camel trying to dupe un-dupe-able things. ~ It didn't matter in the end though, as I didn't need +item after that point. - Things that went well: * Got 6 wheels by the time I'd done the 5 CMG fights on the top floor. * Having the Monkey at 18lb meant the nuns were surprisingly fast! * Whether or not it was practical, 1-turn Orchard felt good. - Compared to last run: * Broke the Prism. :) - Areas for improvement: * Do the tavern properly next time to get Tangles of Rat Tails. Getting ratchets is awkward otherwise. Overall: > 3 days, 568 turns. - Any% Familiar. > Turn-gen was amazing! - Due to the steady supply of blue-pink booze from the stillsuit and basically a full diet of pink food from the bookbat. > Stat-gen still lagged a little (but in a different place (lvl 10 rather than lvl 12) this time). - This was with a second sprout too.... - But then you didn't have as many Fire Crackers at the start. Seeing as turn-gen is solid, it may be worth upping the crackers again. * Also donning the DSH and scrapbook more often. > A nice run to end the year/standard on. :D > Beat previous best turncount by 42 too! > Things to do for next run: - Be smarter about familiar usage. This was almost entirely just Camel charging and Bookbat. * E.g. Prepping the Hobo Monkey earlier might be good for +meat. - Banish more. If nothng else, it's a free runaway. - New standard. Losing: * Retrospecs: Not too fussed. * Bird Calendar: Not too fussed. * Powerful Glove: No swapping and no free pixels. This'll hurt. * Mushroom Garden: Not an issue now that Vintner/Stillsuit gives me all of my booze. The stats might be missed though. * Left-Hand Man: Forgot I had this. :S * Guzzlr: Only good for blue booze, and I have easier ways to get that now. * Iunion Crown: Still got the DSH. Forcing me to use the DSH will actually probably help with stats too. * Camel: Didn't need it in too many places, but it was super useful where I did. I think the Goose can probably cover it at least somewhat.... * Lathe: Didn't use in-run. * Cargo Shorts: Does this mean I need a new Mountain Man source? I don't think I could get it in the Locket... Investigate. Also, turn-0 stats. * Maps: Will definitely make some things awkward. Especially with no swaps. May have to be smarter/stricter with the Locket. And banishing for free runs. Actually, this'll remove the NCs too. I'm not looking forward to relying on luck for starting the war. D: * Cape: The parka covers the stunning. The Cyrpt will be a little bit slower, but I forgot to retune it half the time anyway. :/ * Ghosts: Didn't use in-run. - Looking at this list, the glove and maps are probably going to hit me the hardest.
